Found lots of old tree trunks with exposed and somewhat fascinating root systems.
Love how this tiny pine tree seedling has taken root within this old tree stump.
Never spotted any deer on this trip, but always found fresh hoof prints each morning running from the trees to the water's edge. We suspect they must have been active real early in the mornings.
Found lots of deer tracks around this exposed stag horned tree trunk. Obvious that they must have been curious about the sharp antler shaped prongs sticking out. I wondered if they used it as a scratching post??
Came across a relative of Nessy suning itself on the beach!
Miles and miles of remote beautiful beaches to explore and not a soul in sight!
